Our Staff

Rev. Dr. Liliana Da Valle                                        

Pastor Liliana is our Interim Minister.  She is originally from Argentina; an American Citizen now, she and her family have lived in the USA for 30 years.  Pastor Liliana was ordained with her husband, the Rev. Dr. Horacio R. Da Valle, in 1991 in South Gate, CA; they have been married for 36 years and have four children, and nine grandchildren.

 She has been a counselor for battered women, a hospice chaplain, a pastor, and Area Minister, and an Executive Minister with the American Baptist Churches in different States of the USA.

Lately, Dr. Da Valle came to us from New England, where she did regional ministry for 14 years.  Her experience and education have been highly appreciated by our congregation.

Debon Calixto

Debon is our Music Director.  He directs the Praise and Worship team, and our Youth Band.  He is responsible for any soloists who participate in worship, and coordination of the music at special events.  Our church enjoys a contemporary worship style.  Recently, we have added a praise dance group to our worship experience; they are the Soul Sistah's.  Mr. Calixto is highly committed to the quality and spirituality of our worship life.  He is married to Jeanette Calixto, and they have two children and one adorable granddaughter, Liliana.

Christina Atencio

Christina is our administrative assistant extraordinaire.  She is also our Youth Leader, and in her spare time, she attends school at De Vry.  Christina has been a member of the church since she was very young.  Many members of her family also attend FBC.  She has a big heart for God and God's people.  Christina makes a difference in our church because she is reliable, helpful, and invested in our ministry.

Diana Velasquez                                                             

Diana is the church custodian, but that doesn't even begin to describe her.  Together with her husband, Mike, she takes care of people; they visit the sick ansd shut-ins, they are always ready to do whatever it takes to support the ministry of the church.  Diana leads the Kinder Klub on Sunday mornings, a class for pre-schoolers, and she also bakes cookies for the visitors.
