OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

We would like to invite everyone (young and old, women and men, boys and girls) to bring their slightly worn shoes that they no longer wear and sell them to earn money for OCC.  People can bring their shoes and in turn buy "new" shoes for $5.00 - $10.00!  In these difficult economic times we need to find creative ways to satisfy our shoe cravings.
Buy a shoe and fill a shoebox!
All the money raised will go to Operation Christmas Child - an organization that gives impoverished children a shoebox filled with fun and needed supplies.  For some of the children it will be the only gift they will ever receive in their lives.   
Please tell your friends, neighbors, co-workers.  We need lots of people to donate so we can have lots of different shoe sizes and styles so people have lots of choices.  This is one way to clean out our closets and make room for "new" shoes.
We will start collecting shoes beginning in October and the shoe sale will be the first weekend in November at First Baptist Alameda (1515 Santa Clara Ave Alameda)  We would love to get the whole community involved, so if you can help with this, let me know.
